“Saathi”: Government of India Launches Free Online Platform for SSC, Banking, NEET, and JEE Exam Preparation

The Government of India has launched a new initiative called “Saathi” to provide free online preparation resources for competitive exams like SSC, Banking, NEET, and JEE. This initiative is designed to offer students from all backgrounds an equal opportunity to prepare for these exams without the financial burden of expensive coaching classes.

Along with engineering-medical, now students giving SSC and banking exams will also be able to get guidance from renowned experts. Because the scope of the online platform ‘SATHEE’ (Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams) is being expanded. This platform was started with the aim of providing guidance of renowned professors and alumni to students preparing for engineering-medical. More than 5 lakh students have joined it so far.

The Ministry of Education has also linked the preparation of banking services exam to this platform four-five days ago. Soon the option of preparing for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and University Entrance Exam (CUET) is also expected to be available.

Govind Jaiswal, Joint Secretary, Higher Education Department, Ministry of Education, says that on the ‘Saathi’ platform, students are being given options like live classes, NCERT video solutions, AI based assessment platform, recorded video lectures of almost all IIT professors, mentorship from IIT-AIIMS students and alumni. No fees have to be paid. Now guidance will also be available for banking preparation.

You can start preparing anytime after 11th, 12th or after 12th pass.
