Malaysia Consul General Honoured at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Nobel Awards 2026 in Mumbai

In a grand celebration of human rights and social excellence, Malaysia’s Consul General Ahmad Zuwairi Yousoff was honoured with the 7th Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Nobel Award 2026 at Hotel Sea Princess, Juhu, Mumbai, on April 10. The prestigious event was organized by the International Human Rights Council as part of the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations.

The award recognized Ahmad Zuwairi Yousoff’s efforts in strengthening diplomatic relations, promoting cross-cultural ties, and supporting humanitarian causes. Several notable personalities and Bollywood celebrities were also felicitated for their contributions to society.

The star-studded evening saw the presence of singer Deepa Narayan Jha, actress Amita Nangia, actor Aroon Bakshi, Rajesh Puri, comedian Ahsan Qureshi, and other dignitaries.

Led by Founder Dr. Sunny Shah, National President Dr. Rajesh Sharma, General Secretary Shomu Mitra, and Babubhai Thiba, Kiran Patra the ceremony paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, justice, and human dignity.
