Joint Venture MoU to Strengthen International Dialogue, Professional Exchange and Human Rights Cooperation

Mumbai / International Desk: The International Human Rights Council (IHRC) has announced the establishment of a Joint Venture Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UN Diplomatic Club (UNRDC), marking a new step toward strengthening institutional cooperation and international engagement.

The announcement was made by the Office of the International Secretary General of the International Human Rights Council, H.E. Dr. H. Bou-Said, following consultation with IHRC Chairman Dr. Sunny Shah.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between IHRC and UNRDC in areas of mutual interest. The partnership is intended to facilitate international dialogue, professional exchange, educational initiatives and collaborative programmes involving stakeholders from diverse fields.

Under the framework, the two institutions will explore practical programmes bringing together diplomats, human rights professionals, academics, legal experts, civil society representatives and young leaders. The initiative is expected to provide opportunities for knowledge-sharing, professional interaction and constructive international dialogue.

The cooperation also reflects a shared interest in human rights education, international cooperation, diplomatic engagement and leadership development, with particular attention to encouraging the participation and development of the next generation of professionals working in diplomacy and human rights.

The Office of the International Secretary General described the MoU as an important step in expanding structured institutional partnerships and creating additional platforms for constructive engagement at the international level.

Through this cooperation, IHRC and UNRDC aim to establish meaningful avenues for dialogue and collaboration while supporting initiatives that contribute to greater understanding, education and professional exchange across the international community.
