To start with, Tata Motors is all set to reveal the prices of its SUV coupe, the Curvv, in petrol and diesel variants on September 2. The Curvv, which was recently launched as an EV, will now be available with internal combustion engines. This stylish coupe is expected to be priced starting from around ₹11 lakhs (ex-showroom) and will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
MG Motor India is also making waves with the planned launch of the Windsor EV on September 11. This electric crossover SUV will feature several segment-first innovations, including an infinity view glass roof. The Windsor EV is expected to offer battery pack options ranging from 38kWh to 50kWh, providing a driving range of 360km to 460km, catering to the growing demand for electric vehicles in India.
Hyundai Motor India is not far behind, with the launch of the facelifted Alcazar SUV scheduled for September 5. The new Alcazar will sport a refreshed design, an updated interior, and a host of modern features, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), over 70 connected car features, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. These updates aim to enhance the driving experience and comfort for customers.
Kia Motors is preparing to launch the new-generation Kia Carnival in India on October 3. The fourth-generation Carnival will be longer and more feature-rich compared to its predecessor. This premium MPV will be available in 7, 9, and 11-seat configurations, offering more versatility and space. As a completely built unit (CBU), the Carnival is expected to be priced around ₹50 lakhs, targeting the high-end MPV segment.
The much-anticipated Tata Nexon CNG is also expected to launch in October. This new variant of the popular SUV will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG. The Nexon CNG will feature Tata’s dual-cylinder technology, offering ample boot space, the latest features, and impressive mileage, making it a strong contender in the CNG market.
