India Mobility Global Expo 2025: A Grand Showcase of Vehicles and Technology
Next month, India will host the largest automotive event, the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, previously known as the Auto Expo. Organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), in collaboration with ACMA and CII, this event is set to be a landmark in the history of automobile shows. The expo will take place across three major venues in Delhi-NCR: Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
Unprecedented Participation
This edition will see a record-breaking participation of 34 vehicle manufacturers, the highest since the event began in 1986. Attendees will get to experience a wide array of vehicles, including the latest innovations in automotive technology. According to Rajesh Menon, Director General of SIAM, the expo will showcase diverse powertrain technologies, ranging from internal combustion engines to electric and alternative fuels.
From Everyday Cars to Luxury Automobiles
The expo will display an extensive range of vehicles, including:
- Passenger Cars: Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar, Hyundai Motor India, Kia India, MG Motor, and Škoda Auto Volkswagen India will showcase their latest models.
- Luxury Cars: Enthusiasts can look forward to high-end brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche India, and BYD unveiling their newest offerings.
Two-Wheelers in the Spotlight
The two-wheeler segment promises to draw significant attention with key players such as TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Suzuki Motorcycle India, and Yamaha India set to present their latest motorcycles and scooters.
Focus on Electric Vehicles
Electric vehicles (EVs) will be a major highlight this year, with companies like Ather Energy, Ola Electric, TI Clean Mobility, EKA Mobility, and VinFast showcasing their innovative models. The focus will be on cutting-edge designs and advanced technologies driving the future of mobility.
Commercial Vehicles and Beyond
The commercial vehicle segment will also feature prominently with participation from industry leaders like Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Ashok Leyland, JBM, and Cummins India, who will display their state-of-the-art solutions for businesses.
Event Legacy and Future Vision
The previous Auto Expo was held from January 11–18, 2023, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, while the first India Mobility Global Expo took place from February 1–3, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam. With its massive scale and diverse showcases, the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 aims to be a game-changer, not just for vehicle enthusiasts but also for the global automotive industry.
