Major Crackdown on Illegal Immigration in America

Including Suspected Terrorist and Gang Members, with Hundreds Deported Using Military Aircraft

The Trump administration continues to crack down on illegal immigration, with hundreds of undocumented migrants arrested and deported on Thursday. White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt announced that U.S. authorities had arrested 538 illegal immigrants and used military aircraft to deport hundreds more.

Leavitt stated, “The Trump administration has apprehended 538 illegal immigrant criminals, including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several offenders convicted of sexual crimes against minors.”

She added, “Hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals have been deported using military planes. This is the largest deportation operation in history. Promises were made, and promises are being kept.” The White House emphasized that this effort represents just a glimpse of the government’s commitment to securing the nation’s borders.

Key Actions by the Trump Administration

Since taking office, President Trump has implemented several significant policies, including the reversal of 78 executive orders from the Biden administration and the declaration of a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump also announced plans to resume construction of the border wall.

Increased Border Security

The Department of Defense announced on Wednesday that an additional 1,500 troops would be deployed to the southern border to support Trump’s immigration orders. This deployment will join the approximately 2,500 National Guard and Reserve personnel already stationed there. It remains unclear which specific units will be assigned to this mission.
