Ranveer Allahbadia Moves Supreme Court in IGL Case
Ranveer Allahabadia Faces Legal Trouble Over Controversial Remarks

YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia’s troubles continue to grow as multiple FIRs are being registered against him. Now, he has approached the Supreme Court regarding the India’s Got Latent controversy, seeking to club all FIRs filed against him. Chief Justice (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna refused an urgent hearing, stating that the case would be heard as per procedure.
FIRs have been lodged against Allahabadia by the Maharashtra and Assam police over his comments. Following the viral news and public outrage, he issued a public apology, admitting that his remarks were inappropriate.
The show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina, is facing severe backlash over obscene jokes. In one controversial episode, judges Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva Makheja made inappropriate comments about parents’ intimate lives, sparking widespread outrage. The controversy has now reached the courts.
Despite Allahabadia’s apology, the backlash has not subsided. According to media reports, all episodes of India’s Got Latent have been removed from YouTube. Additionally, Allahabadia, Apoorva, and Samay have deleted all related content from their personal social media accounts. Reports also suggest that Samay Raina’s comedy shows are being canceled, while several celebrities have declined to appear on Ranveer’s podcast.
