CBSE releases admit cards with exam dates, guidelines, and important rules for students.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the process of issuing admit cards for board examinations. All schools will be able to download admit cards for their students. This year, the admit card will include details such as roll number, date of birth (only for Class 10), parents’ names, student’s name, examination center name, CWSS category, exam dates, admit card ID, and subject names.
The countdown for board exams has begun. Exams for both classes will commence on February 15. Class 12 board exams will be conducted from February 15 to April 4, while Class 10 exams will be held from February 15 to March 18. On February 15, Class 10 students will take the English Communicative and English Language & Literature exams, while Class 12 students will also appear for English Communicative and English Language & Literature exams.
CBSE has issued guidelines for students:
- Students must wear their school uniform to the exam.
- They must carry their school ID, admit card, and necessary stationery items.
- Students are advised to visit the examination center a day before the exam to ensure they reach before 10:00 AM on the exam day.
- Exams will begin at 10:30 AM.
- Students should consider weather and traffic conditions while planning their commute to the exam center.
CBSE has strictly prohibited bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets to the examination center.
- If a student is found carrying a mobile phone or any electronic device capable of communication, all their subject exams will be canceled, and they may also be barred from appearing next year.
- If a student is caught cheating, their result for all subjects may be canceled.
CBSE Examination Controller Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that the schedule includes sufficient gaps between subjects. The Class 12 exam schedule has also been planned, considering competitive exams to avoid conflicts.
Students and parents are advised to carefully check all details on the admit card, verify the photo and signature, and follow all exam regulations strictly.
