Now, news of the sale of Dharma Productions’ shares has surfaced. In a significant deal worth ₹1,000 crore, Adar Poonawalla, owner of Serum Institute, has purchased 50 percent of Dharma Productions’ shares. Adar Poonawalla’s company is the same one responsible for producing the COVID-19 vaccine.
An official press release from Adar’s team confirmed the news, stating that he will now co-own 50 percent of both Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment alongside Karan Johar.
