Raj Kundra Denies Pornography Allegations
"Claims Innocence, Clarifies Role in Tech Services Amid Controversy"
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, made headlines after being accused in a pornography case. Allegations surfaced that he was distributing explicit content and films through a mobile app. Recently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned him for questioning after a raid at his residence related to the case.
In a conversation with ANI, Raj Kundra firmly denied the accusations, calling them completely false. When asked if he was the so-called “Pornography King,” Raj responded, “I have never been involved in pornography or any such production. When these allegations surfaced, I was deeply hurt.”
Raj clarified that he was granted bail because there was no substantial evidence against him. He said, “I know I have done nothing wrong.”
Raj further revealed details about his business associations. He explained that there was a listed company under his son’s name, which provided technological services. Another company, Kenrin, under his brother-in-law’s name, launched an app from the UK. While the app showcased bold content, he emphasized that it was not pornographic. The app featured A-rated movies, targeting adult audiences.
Regarding his involvement, Raj clarified, “I was only a technology provider.” He reiterated that he never engaged in any activity related to pornography.
Hitting back at the media, Raj criticized the portrayal of him being the mastermind behind 13 apps. He explained, “The media claims I ran all 13 apps, but I was only providing software and technical services. There was nothing illegal about those apps.”
In conclusion, Raj challenged the allegations further, saying, “If any actress comes forward and says she met me, worked in any of my films, or that I produced any such content, I will accept responsibility.”
