Rashmika Mandanna Appointed National Ambassador for Cybersecurity by I4C

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has been appointed as the national ambassador for cyber security by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The “Animal” actor will lead a nationwide campaign aimed at raising awareness about cyber threats and promoting online safety.
Announcing the news in a video, the actress shared that she has been named the brand ambassador for I4C. She wrote, “Let’s unite to create a safer cyberspace for ourselves and future generations. I want to raise awareness and protect as many of you as possible from cyber crimes, which is why I am taking on the role of brand ambassador for I4C.”
Rashmika’s personal experience as a victim of cyber crime makes her new role even more significant. She was targeted in a deepfake video, after which the police launched an investigation that led to the arrest of those responsible. Speaking about her appointment, Rashmika emphasized the importance of cyber awareness.
She said, “Cybercrime is a dangerous and widespread threat that affects individuals, businesses, and communities worldwide. Having personally experienced it, I am dedicated to promoting cyber security and raising awareness of these issues to make a positive impact. It’s crucial that we come together to address these threats and protect our digital spaces.”
