Actor Hospitalized After Knife Attack in His Apartment
A shocking incident involving Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has come to light. While he was peacefully sleeping at home with his family, an unidentified person broke into his apartment and attacked him with a knife. The incident is believed to be an attempted robbery. According to reports, the attack occurred around 2 a.m. on Thursday night. A thief entered the actor’s home and stabbed him six times with a knife. As a result, Saif Ali Khan suffered several injuries, particularly around his neck and spine. Reports suggest that he is currently undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital and is out of danger.
Saif Ali Khan’s team has issued a statement regarding the incident, which reads:
“Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s house was attempted to be robbed. The actor is currently in the hospital and undergoing surgery. He has sustained injuries to his hand, and the other family members are safe. We request the media and the public to remain calm and refrain from speculating. The police have begun their investigation.”
According to the police statement, the thief was seen by the housekeeper when he entered the home, leading to a confrontation between them. When Saif Ali Khan intervened, the intruder attacked him with a knife. The police also stated that the thief fled immediately after the family members woke up. An FIR has been filed, and the Bandra police have formed a team to track down the assailant.
Neeraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, confirmed that Saif Ali Khan was brought to the hospital around 3:30 a.m. after the knife wounds. He has suffered deep injuries in two places on his body. Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi are performing his surgery.
