UP Job Fair 2024: 7,188 Driver Positions Open

A major job fair is soon to be organized in Uttar Pradesh, offering candidates an opportunity to secure jobs in the state’s Transport Corporation. To address the increasing demand for drivers, especially in light of the upcoming Mahakumbh preparations, the Transport Corporation plans to recruit 7,188 contract-based drivers through these job fairs. Key Dates and Locations:

The job fairs will be conducted across 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh from November 28 to December 10, 2024. Specific dates and locations include:

• November 28: Lucknow, Noida, Agra, Moradabad, and Gorakhpur
• December 2: Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Bareilly, Ayodhya, and Varanasi
• December 6: Meerut, Etawah, Hardoi, Devipatan, and Azamgarh
• December 10: Saharanpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Chitrakoot Dham-Banda, and Prayagraj

Application Process:

• Candidates interested in driver positions must attend the job fair in their chosen district.
• Registration is mandatory and will be conducted on-site.
• Ensure you carry all essential documents, including educational certificates and other required credentials.

Objective:

Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh stated that the recruitment aims to ensure smooth and efficient bus operations in the state. These job fairs provide an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to join the Transport Corporation on a contractual basis.
