US Consulate General to Hold ‘Study in the US’ Fair in Bengaluru on August 18
Event part of an eight-city series to provide information on higher education in the United States

Bengaluru: EducationUSA, the official source of information on higher education in the United States provided by the US government, is set to organize an education fair in Bengaluru on August 18. This fair is part of a series of eight such events scheduled across India. According to an official statement, the event aims to help students make informed decisions about higher education in the US by facilitating discussions with representatives from American universities, EducationUSA advisors, and officials from the US Consulate.
US Ambassador Eric Garcetti mentioned that these fairs offer students the chance to meet representatives from a wide range of American colleges and universities, gaining direct insights into admissions, scholarships, and campus life. He emphasized that the fair would also assist students in understanding the US student visa application process.
The fairs will take place in various cities as follows: Hyderabad on August 16, Chennai on August 17, Bengaluru on August 18, Kolkata on August 19, Ahmedabad on August 21, Pune on August 22, Mumbai on August 24, and New Delhi on August 25.
