Actor Vikrant Massey has been in the spotlight recently for his film The Sabarmati Report, based on a true story. The film hit theaters today, but it hasn’t been without challenges. Vikrant revealed that he and his family received death threats over the movie. Shockingly, even his 9-month-old son was dragged into the threats.
In a recent interview, Vikrant shared that he had been receiving threatening messages on social media and WhatsApp. He expressed concern over the fact that these individuals targeted his infant son, who is too young to even walk.
He said, “These people know I’ve recently become a father, and they’re dragging my son into this. I’m deeply worried about his safety. What kind of society are we living in?” Vikrant questioned why his family was being targeted and expressed frustration over the situation.
Despite the threats, Vikrant made it clear that he wasn’t intimidated. “I’m not afraid of them because I understand their nature. These threats only motivate me further,” he stated, explaining his commitment to finishing the film.
The Sabarmati Report stars Vikrant Massey alongside Rashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in lead roles and is directed by Dheeraj Sarna.
