Discussion & Suggestion Campaign for NEP Implementation

"Statewide Meetings on January 12 to Address Challenges and Gather Feedback"

To implement the new education policy effectively across the state, a large-scale discussion and suggestion campaign will be conducted. As part of this initiative, a meeting will be held on January 12 for all colleges and universities across the state, where the entire staff of the institutions must be present. For colleges in Faridabad and Palwal districts, the meeting will take place at Gurugram University. The central government aims to fully implement the new education policy by 2025, and some universities and colleges have already started admissions under its guidelines.

The campaign will focus on identifying challenges in implementing the policy and gathering suggestions for improvement. Teachers will be directly and indirectly involved in providing input. In Haryana, this campaign will be organized on January 12, coinciding with Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary.

Meetings for colleges in different districts will be held at separate universities. The colleges in Faridabad, Palwal, Gurugram, Mahendragarh, Rewari, and Nuh districts will attend the session at Gurugram University. The Higher Education Department has instructed all colleges to ensure full staff attendance, and principals must ensure compliance.

Regarding this initiative, Dr. Sunil Sharma, Principal of Government College Kheri Gujran, stated that the campaign for discussions and suggestions on the new education policy is set to begin. A meeting schedule has been issued to all colleges by the Higher Education Department, and directives have already been received. The instructions will be strictly followed.
