Haryana’s Free NEET Coaching

Empowering Underprivileged Students Through State-Sponsored Coaching Programs

The Education Department of Haryana is set to provide coaching for the NEET medical entrance exam to talented students who excel academically but lack the resources for private coaching. The department plans to identify such students and form clusters to prepare them for the NEET exam. This initiative will be launched under the “Buniyaad” and “Super-100” programs. Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda has instructed officials to compile a list of students aspiring to pursue medical studies.

The Super-100 and Buniyaad programs involve selecting students through competitive exams. While many students aspire to pursue medical education, financial constraints often hinder them. To address this, the government will form batches of 40–60 students and provide coaching in government schools. Experts, professors, and teachers from the medical field will be hired for this purpose.

In addition, to curb the dropout rate in government schools, Education Minister Dhanda has initiated school visits to interact directly with students, parents, and teachers. The department is also collaborating with local panchayats and instructing teachers to identify and re-enroll dropouts.

To modernize education, Haryana schools have introduced tablet-based learning. However, the department has received complaints about students bypassing the locks on these tablets to access unrelated websites. To address this, the department plans to counsel such students to ensure they use the tablets constructively and remain focused on their studies.
