"Samsung to Manufacture Galaxy S25 Series in India, Introduces AI-Powered Features"

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. of South Korea will manufacture its Galaxy S25 series at its Noida plant in India. JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, announced on Wednesday, “Indian engineers have played a crucial role in the development of Galaxy AI for the S25 series. We will manufacture the new Galaxy S25 series at our Noida plant in India.” Samsung operates three R&D centers in India, with its Bengaluru research center being the largest outside South Korea.
At an event held in San Jose, Samsung unveiled its new smartphone series. During the Galaxy Unpacked event in Silicon Valley, the company introduced its premium AI smartphones under the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25.
“Indian consumers make the most use of Galaxy AI features like ‘Circle to Search’ and ‘Call Assist.’ The S25 has been designed to be your true AI companion. We are confident the Galaxy S25 series will surpass the popularity of the S24 series in India,” Park added.
The company stated that the S25 series is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite chipset for Galaxy. “With unique customization by Galaxy, this is the most powerful processor ever featured in the Galaxy S series. It provides a performance boost of 40% in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU compared to previous models.”
TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said in an official statement on Wednesday, “The greatest innovations are a reflection of user needs, which is why we have developed Galaxy AI to enable more natural and seamless interactions with devices while ensuring privacy is safeguarded.”
The Galaxy S25 series introduces an AI-integrated operating system, transforming the way we use technology and live our lives. Samsung collaborated with Qualcomm Technologies to customize the Snapdragon® 8 Elite for Galaxy, equipping it with a Vulkan engine and advanced ray tracing, delivering smoother mobile gaming experiences.
