This behavior irked Sonu Nigam, who later took to social media to voice his displeasure. He remarked, “If you need to leave, do so before the show begins. Walking out in the middle of a performance is disrespectful. I understand your schedules are tight, but if you don’t respect art, who will?”
Sonu further criticized the lack of courtesy shown by the dignitaries, stating, “The show was going so well, yet many left midway. This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world, not even in the United States. If you plan to leave early, at least do so before the performance starts. Such behavior diminishes the respect for art and the artists.”
